Hello Parents and Players,
The 4/5/6 boys basketball team will start practices January 11th after school. Practices will run from 3:30-4:45. Games will typically be played Tuesdays and Thursdays, some may end up on a Monday or Friday. When I get the game schedule I will send it home with the boys.
I would like to see the players at ALL of practices and games. This is an equal playing time league, and focuses on learning, playing, and having fun. I will be sending home a letter this week with interested players. If you have any questions feel free to call me at school or email me.
Thanks,
Joe Wateland

I wanted to thank all of the students and parents who supported our athletic department and phy ed program with your help and donations this year. This event is crucial to our athletic teams and the advancement of equipment for the phy ed classes. Again, I cannon thank you all enough for the support you gave this event. I hope you all had fun during the pie throwing, I know that I did.
I will try to get the video of the pie throw online for all to view and enjoy.
Jog-a-thon dates and times are set. The 4th-8th grade will run on Thursday, September 17th from 1:30-2:45. The 1st-3rd grade will run in the morning on Friday, September 18th from 9:00-10:30. The younger grades are running in the morning due to bussing issues, this way they are able to get a ride from the school to the park and back. The older students will walk back to the school but be able to count laps for the distance they walk.
We will be in need of volunteers to count runners and help during the event. We also invite all parents to attend and walk/jog with their children. Remember you can donated your laps to one child.
This is a great way to raise funds for the physical education and athletic department. We appreciate any help we can get.
Thank You,
Joe Wateland
